A dated front entry and cluttered landscape beds can make even a beautiful home feel less inviting. For this Winter Garden property, Pelor Outdoor was brought in to remove overgrown plants, outdated stone, and paver blocks from both the front and back of the home. The goal was to create a cleaner, more vibrant landscape with better curb appeal and easier long-term maintenance.

The Challenge

The property’s front entry and landscape beds had become crowded with overgrown shrubs, old stones, and paver blocks. These elements made the outdoor space feel cluttered and dated, taking attention away from the home’s exterior.

The client wanted a refreshed landscape that looked cleaner, felt more welcoming, and would be easier to maintain going forward.

Scope of Work

Pelor Outdoor completed a full landscape refresh that included:

• Removed arboricola and viburnum hedge rows, including roots, near the front walkway and driveway
• Hauled away stones and paver blocks from the front and rear landscape beds
• Ground down a palm stump near the driveway
• Trimmed the queen palm to improve appearance and clearance
• Installed new plantings, including purple fountain grass, fire bush, croton, hibiscus, coontie palms, and dwarf mondo grass
• Applied 18 bags of pine mulch to refresh the front landscape beds

The Result

The finished landscape now has a cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming appearance. By removing overgrown plant material, old stone, and excess pavers, the home’s front entry feels more open and organized.

The new plantings add color, texture, and visual interest while supporting a more manageable maintenance routine. Fresh pine mulch gave the beds a finished look and helped create a clean contrast around the new plants.
